BGR projects are designed both to provide emergency food aid and to promote greater food productivity at the grassroots level. We partner with organizations that are already operating on the ground in areas of interest. MORE

You may be able to increase the impact of your gift to BGR through your employer’s matching gifts program. If you do not know whether your employer matches employee gifts, ask your human resources department for information. Usually, all that is necessary is for you to fill out a form and send it to BGR. We provide the necessary documentation and return it to your employer. So you can sometimes double – or even triple! – the size of your gift simply by taking advantage of your company’s existing charitable giving program. Here are some simple ways that you can support hunger relief efforts through BGR’s resources:
- Join us on the BGR Facebook page for posts from Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi and other members on up-to-date news, research articles, Dharma essays, and more.
- Become a member of the BGR Channel on YouTube and be notified of current videos.
- Post a link to BGR on your Facebook page, write about us on your Blog, or Tweet about us.
- Place a BGR signature statement with a link to BGR at the bottom of your emails.
- Write an appeal about BGR’s mission or any of our projects and position it at the bottom of your Sangha/organization email notifications.
- Email a link to the 3+minute video of Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi introducing BGR or post it on your YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zS70q0xdr4w

You can use the materials below to spread word about BGR at your temple, Dharma center, or among your friends:
- Print out and post the PDF of the BGR 8.5x11 poster (also in Chinese) on bulletin boards.
- Print out the PDF of the BGR brochures (also in Chinese) and distribute.
- Give a PowerPoint Presentation about BGR and our projects to your organization or friends.
You can download the brochures, posters, and presentation from the Support Materials section. We can also send you brochures and posters if you aren’t able to print them yourself.
