Founded in 1992 by Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) operates a school serving children from economically marginalized communities in the Himalayan region of Ladakh. The Mahabodhi Residential School provides an education to more than 800 children according to Buddhist values of compassion, lovingkindness, nonviolence, and non-separation. This project funds a hot meal program at the school, ensuring that all students receive safe, fresh, nutritious food throughout the year.
