In Falam township in Chin state, Myanmar, thousands of innocent civilians have fled their villages due to conflict, leaving behind homes and workplaces and seeking refuge in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps. BGR partner New Eden Charity Foundation (NECF) works to protect the health and well-being of IDPs and other people in need in Myanmar. In this project, NECF is distributing kits containing rice, cooking oil, salt, soap, and washing powder to 293 families sheltering in IDP camps near Falam township. Through this project our partner intends that the 1,462 individuals receiving materials will know that they are not walking alone in their challenges but are known to and supported by others, far away.
