BGR’s partner in this project, U.S.-based Art Creation Foundation for Children (ACFFC), provides art instruction, tutoring, medical care, daily food and water, and tuition support for children in need in Jacmel, Haiti.
This project provides about 46 children from food-insecure families with at least one nutritious, filling meal per day, six days per week. The goal of this project is to ensure that every child has access to a nutritious meal from Monday through Saturday. By providing reliable daily nutrition, the program helps children stay focused and engaged in their learning, setting them up for greater success in school and beyond. The feeding program also helps to relieve some of the financial pressure on parents and caregivers who are facing economic difficulties. By easing this burden, the project contributes to a stronger, healthier community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
