2026 NYC Walk to Feed the Hungry in Astoria Park
Saturday, September 26, 2026
Join Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi on September 26 for a joyful morning of compassionate action in support of the work of Buddhist Global Relief.
This year, for the first time since the Covid pandemic, Buddhist Global Relief will be holding a Walk to Feed the Hungry in New York City. Led by BGR founder and chair Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, participants will walk peacefully through Astoria Park, near the East River in Astoria, Queens, and then will gather at a nearby site for a vegetarian lunch, speakers, and Dharma fellowship.
The Buddha said, “The gift of food is the gift of life.” By joining the walk, or supporting others on the walk, you’ll be giving the gift of life to people in need throughout the world.
