Princeton Insight Meditation Fundraiser for BGR

Princeton Insight Meditation is proud to be a sangha sponsor for Buddhist Global Relief’s annual Buddhist Action to Feed the Hungry fundraiser. Through the generosity of our donors, we will match the first $1000 donated by sangha members to this campaign.

This is an opportunity for us to come together as a sangha and support Buddhist Global Relief’s important work. BGR currently sponsors sixty projects that span the world, from far-off Mongolia to enclaves of hunger here in the U.S. Their projects provide direct food aid to the hungry; support the education of poor girls—a major antidote to hunger; enable women to start home cottage industries; and provide crucial assistance to help farmers adopt climate-resilient models of agriculture. Learn more at buddhistglobalrelief.org.

Princeton Insight Meditation will be joining Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi and local BGR supporters in Astoria Park on September 26th for the first NYC Walk to Feed the Hungry since the pandemic! If you want to attend with the group from Princeton, be sure to RSVP with Buddhist Global Relief when you donate, and also sign up to receive further travel details.
