Path to Plenty: A Walk Supporting Food Security Worldwide

Saturday, November 15, 10:00 am–12:30 pm
Starting from Portland Dhamma Center, 1404 SE 25th Ave., at Madison (near Hawthorne)
Join members of Portland Friends of the Dhamma, No-Rank Zendo, Wise Spirit Buddhist Community, and Oregon Buddhist Temple in a multi-community effort to raise money to feed the hungry locally and abroad, in conjunction with Buddhist Global Relief.
Portland's Path to Plenty event will help fund the efforts of Buddhist Global Relief to alleviate malnutrition and starvation, and engender food security worldwide. The Walk will also support the work of Urban Gleaners to collect and distribute 'surplus' food to folks in need here in Portland.
In times like these, it may seem that much divides us. But uplifting actions, like this Walk, offer us a way to express our unity and goodwill as caring human beings, no matter who we are.
All registrants will receive an invitation for Buddhist Global Relief's 2025 Buddhist Action to Feed the Hungry Online Gathering, to be held on October 25.
Thank you for supporting this heartfelt expression of compassion in action!
