In Paletwa Township, Chin State, in Burma (Myanmar), thousands of people have been internally displaced due to heavy fighting in the region. Among these families, many of whom are living in IDP (internally displaced persons’) camps in the region, are hundreds of children whose educations have been put on hold. Recently, a temporary learning center was constructed here, but the students lack supplies. This project with new BGR partner New Eden Charity Foundation will provide needed school supplies for 800 children, more than half of whom are girls. New partner, new project.
