In the village of Ebase, in the Kupe-Muanenguba division of southwest Cameroon, nearly all are subsistence farmers, many of whom struggle to meet the basic needs of their families. This project with BGR partner CENCUDER Cameroon provides nutritious hot lunches for 108 undernourished children attending the local Ebase-Bajoh primary school. Since its introduction in 2015, the feeding program has increased enrollment and lowered dropout rates, especially among village girls. This year, the project aims to increase access to basic education by 30 percent in five villages in the Bajoh community; to improve the nutrition and health of 108 schoolchildren; and to continue to reduce the dropout rate among girls. The project will also provide deworming medication for the children. Annually renewable project
