This privacy policy describes how the BGR QuickBooks Integration (“the app”) handles data. The app is an internal tool used by Buddhist Global Relief to generate accounting reports from our QuickBooks Online account.

What data the app accesses

The app uses Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API to read accounting data (chart of accounts, transactions, reports) from a single QuickBooks company belonging to Buddhist Global Relief. The app does not modify QuickBooks data.

How the data is used

Data is used solely to produce internal accounting reports (CSV exports). It is not shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising or analytics.

Where the data is stored

OAuth credentials are stored in a local environment file on the authorized user’s workstation. Report output (CSV files) is stored on the same workstation. No data is transmitted to or stored on any external server operated by the app.

Who has access

Only the single authorized user who installs and runs the app.

Data retention

Exported CSV files are retained at the user’s discretion. OAuth tokens can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online under Apps → My Apps → Disconnect.
